Introduction
VoteClick, a company operating in Ireland, complies with EU regulations and GDPR guidelines regarding privacy notices.
This policy outlines the personal data associated with your account and how we safeguard and utilize it.
We periodically update this policy, with the latest revision made on October 10th, 2024.
Personal Data
In the context of voting, personal data primarily includes voters' names and contact information that you upload to your VoteClick account, as well as the voting results.
In this section, we outline how we safeguard this data and how it is used.
First, let's clarify what we do not do:
- We do not disclose or share any information with third parties.
- We do not send our clients marketing-related emails.
- We do not send your voters any messages other than voting invitations and contact detail verification messages.
To enhance privacy, we also take the following measures:
- You can delete voter data and voting results from your account at any time.
- We offer a one-click download option for voter lists and voting results, encouraging you to remove them from our servers.
Retention
Since some of our clients might not consistently back up their account data, we guarantee to retain vote results and voter lists for a minimum of one year.
However, you can choose to delete both voter lists and vote results at your discretion, giving you full control over your data.
Implicit Data Collection
At VoteClick, we prioritize your privacy and are committed to transparency in our data collection practices. As a result, we do not use cookies or other tracking technologies of our own to gather personal information without your knowledge or consent.
During registration, your account's time zone is automatically configured to align with your current time zone. Should you wish to change this setting, you can do so via the "Settings" page.
We maintain a record of all activities within your account in an Activity Log, which is preserved for one week. This log is solely used for enhancing the user experience and is never shared with third parties.
Communication
We will send you email notifications that are vital for managing your account, including those related to administration and usage. We do not employ email for marketing purposes.
Since these messages are essential for account management, the only method to cease receiving them is to close your voting account.

As a VoteClick user, you are entitled to:
- Review and modify the personal information you supplied in your account
- Download and remove voter lists and voting results stored on our servers
